The other day we found a little hole in the side of our dirt hill and we all thought is was a snake hole
but instead it was a bird's nest! It was a tunnel which a little bird called a pardalote had dug out.

There was the mother bird and the father one each getting food for the little babies in side the hole. It was amazing to watch the little birds go in and out the tunnel.
The Pardalotes ( which means spotted bird) are know to be the smallest birds of Australia!
It is Wonderful that we have these tiny little birds in our backyard! They are so cute.
They grow to about 8 cm!!! My older sister found one of there egg's already hatched!
By the way my Contest is supposed to end today but since no one has entered it is going to go on for three more days, Plz Enter!
